Shipping Vendors

We are using the following carriers, depending on size/weight, location and chosen shipping service:

  • Royal Mail
  • DHL Parcels UK
  • Yodel
  • DPD

Our main shipping provider for economy shipments is Yodel. Express shipments can be a range of courier services depending on size, location and despatch date (e.g. Yodel delivers on a Saturday, so we might use Yodel Xpect 24 on a Friday, but we might be using DHL during the week).

In addition to economy, standard and express options, you can choose a specific shipping vendor at checkout.

 

Shipping Days

We are despatching orders Mondays to Fridays. Order cut-off time is 12.00 lunchtime.

Livestock Shipping

Shipping is charged at £9.99 to cover a priority delivery and appropriate packaging. Shrimp will usually be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Snails can be shipped with different priority carriers/services by our discretion. 

We ship Livestock Tuesdays to Thursdays. Saturday delivery is available as an option.

DOA Policy: We have a death on arrival policy. We will refund or replace shrimp, that have died during transport. In case of a claim, we ask the customer to supply photo evidence (shrimp in and out of transport bag plus photos of the box in case of damage to the package) within an hour of arrival.


Pre-orders

We offer the option of pre-orders on some products. These are specifically ordered for you. Pre-orders usually despatch within 2-9 business days. We reserve the right to hold the order until all items are in stock, but generally strive to ship what is available as soon as possible!
