Feeding Instructions

Feed a small amount 1 – 2 times each day. Your fish should eat all of the food within 1 minute. If they don’t, reduce the amount you feed in future meals. Take care not to overfeed as uneaten food will decompose and pollute the water. Uneaten food should be removed

 

Tip. Fancy varieties of goldfish are prone to balance problems (floating on their side and being unable to swim down from the surface). One of the common causes of this is goldfish taking in air or dry food when they feed. To avoid such problems, hold a pinch of food under the water surface and allow the flakes to sink.
